1. Types of content
We publish news, analysis, banking awareness and culture pieces, photos, videos, Musrefy Cast episodes, polls, publications and the Musrefy Moshor record of leadership changes. Opinion pieces are clearly distinguished from news.
2. Editorial independence
The editorial team makes publishing decisions independently of advertisers, sponsors and subscribing organizations. Editorial coverage, ratings and awards cannot be bought.
3. Review before publication
Every item is written as a draft and reviewed by a reviewer other than its author before it is published or scheduled; editors never approve their own work. We keep a record of each status change, who made it and when, and of the edit history.
4. Sources and accuracy
We rely on credible sources and cite them, with a source and date for every figure. No Musrefy Moshor entry is published without a link to a published source (an official announcement, a regulator decision or a press release).
5. Paid and sponsored content
All paid or partner-sponsored content carries a visible "Sponsored" label with the sponsor’s name and is kept separate from editorial content, recommendations and awards. Sponsors do not see editorial material before publication except to check facts about themselves.
6. Artificial intelligence
We may use AI tools to help with translation, summarising or proofreading; every published item remains the responsibility of a human editor who reviewed it. Content that is mostly AI-generated is clearly disclosed, and we never publish generated images as real photos of events or people.
7. Corrections
We correct material errors as soon as they are verified and add a dated correction note to the item explaining what changed. Corrections can be requested through the "Contact us" or "Report a violation" pages, including requests from people listed in Musrefy Moshor.
8. Removal and archiving
We withdraw content when it is found to breach the law, this policy or the rights of others, and archive outdated content while keeping the audit trail. The reason for any withdrawal is recorded internally.
9. Conflicts of interest
Editors and writers disclose any interest that could affect their objectivity and step aside from covering organizations in which they have a direct interest.
10. Polls
Polls reflect the views of members who chose to take part and are not scientific studies. Each member has one vote, and results are counted from actual votes only and are never edited.
11. Status of this policy
This is a draft awaiting management approval and legal review, and may be updated before Musrefy Media launches.
