Verification policy

The rules for verification badges and levels on Musrefy.

This is a draft pending legal review. The final text will be published once it is approved.

1. Who can be verified

Individuals working or specialised in banking and finance, and licensed or legally registered institutions and businesses, provided the profile is complete and published.

2. Verification levels

• Not verified: a published profile without checks. • Basic verification: email, mobile number and profile details have been checked. • Verified: an identity document, licence or employer has been reviewed by the verification team.

3. Required documents

Individuals: a valid identity document, optionally with proof of employer or professional certificates. Institutions and businesses: the commercial register or licence and proof of the representative's authority. PDF and image files up to 10 MB each are accepted.

4. Review steps

You submit the request from your profile; an authorised verification officer reviews it and may ask for more information. You are notified of approval, a request for more information, or rejection with the reason.

5. Validity and re-verification

The badge stays valid while the details remain accurate. We may ask for re-verification when the name, employer, licence or document changes or expires.

6. Removing the badge

The badge is removed if the details prove inaccurate, a licence expires or the code of conduct is breached, and the profile owner is told why.

7. Objections

You can object to a rejection or badge removal within 14 days through the "Contact us" page, quoting the reference number.

8. Preventing impersonation

Impersonating a person or organisation, or using a name or logo without authority, is prohibited. An impersonating profile is suspended as soon as this is confirmed, and the rightful owner can report it through the "Contact us" page.
